Maria Arreola is a Legal Assistant in the KIRBY & KIRBY law firm. She has worked in the legal field since 1980. She specializes in complex litigation and her work experience extends to many areas of law including business, investment and real estate litigation; in years past she has worked on product liability litigation involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, eminent domain, insurance defense litigation, bankruptcy, legal and medical malpractice, and general commercial litigation. Maria has accumulated extensive experience in trial preparation and assisting in trials, both in state and federal courts. As a litigation assistant she has actively provided support in all areas of pretrial discovery and investigation, as well as trial preparation and trial. She has participated in cases pending and tried throughout the United States including Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and throughout various regions of California. Her bilingual experience has taken her to various parts of the world to assist with witness interviews and in the collection and documentation of evidence in places like South America and Mexico. Although a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin she has made San Diego her home since the age of 3.
