The Firm's attorneys have handled intellectual property, patent, trademark and trade secret dispute litigation and disputes for over 25 years. We are thoroughly familiar with the substantive and procedural issues involved in such litigation. As a result, substantial clients, including Fortune 500 companies, have hired our attorneys to pursue their positions in intellectual property, patent, trademark and/or trade secret litigation.
The following are examples of our experience:
- Michael L. Kirby represented a major corporation in a six week jury trial of claims of trade secret misappropriation and unfair business practices. Kirby's client was a defendant and the jury issued complete defense verdict.
- Jason M. Kirby represented a defendant against claims that he had misappropriated trade secret information from a former employer. After the plaintiff failed to obtain a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction, the parties entered into a settlement agreement proving for a complete walk-away settlement with no restrictions on Kirby's client regarding the alleged trade secret information.
